Common Bitcoin payment questions
Do I ask for the invoice before or after buying BTC?
Buy Bitcoin first. Once your BTC is ready in your app, contact EagleCast support and request the invoice so you can pay it right away before it expires.
Should I scan the QR code or paste the BTC address?
Scanning the QR code is usually the easiest option. Pasting the address also works fine, but you must be very careful to copy it correctly and use the exact BTC amount shown on the invoice.
What happens after I send the payment?
Your transaction is detected by the payment system, the invoice status updates after confirmation, and your EagleCast order can then be processed.
Can I send a different amount than what is shown?
EagleCast BTC invoices has a smart detection of payments which falls under pennies shortage, example: the price is 119.99 but your btc payment covered about 118 or cose to 119. The invoice will be settled, as we know you tried and we care about our customer comfort.
What network should I use?
